Join Shannon and friends as we develop Irish music repertoire and skills in a joyful and wholistic environment. Each class, students will sing, dance, and play to ensure that they develop a strong foundation in the musical tradition.
Ages: 7-12 (younger children may join if they meet the requirements)
Location: Monroe Art Studios, 107 W Monroe St, South Bend.
Day/Time: Fridays, 3:45-5 pm, September 3- December 12 (No classes Halloween or Black Friday)
Cost: $195, $335 for 2 children, $455 for 3 children. Discount refunded after registration
Requirements for the class:
Play low D to high A
Play notes when called by name
Play basic tunes (London Bridge, for example) in tempo
Reading sheet a plus
